On either the 9th or 16th of November entrants will complete 20 hours of solitude in Melbourne and Sydney respectively. With nothing but your seat, journal and single swag you will experience an extreme period of self reflection. Yes.. we have toilets you can use!

Group 1:Â Â 4am - 12am of 9th November in Melbourne
Venue: RSEA Park
Group 2: Â Â 4am - 12am of 16th November in Sydney
Venue: SHORE college
The challenge
The challenge consists of:
1. Arriving on time at 3:30am with your seat, water bottle, single swag and journal. (no double swags allowed).
2. 20Talk will allocate you one of the pre-marked squares on site. By 4am you will have set up your 2 metre square.
3. All 20 participants will then start the challenge. There will be no talking, and no technology allowed throughout the event process. 20Talk will be providing some self-reflection activities for particpants should they wish to engage with.
4. Despite the temptation to talk to other participants, there will be no talking throughout the challenge. We want to create an environment of internal reflection so this is very important for us.Â
Food and Water: Partipicant are to bring their own food in three lunch boxes. We will give ou the lunch boxes at roughly 7 hour intervals. There is unlimted filtered water at the venue as well. For cases of eating and drinking, we will be allowing particpants to leave their squares.
Toilets: There are toilets at the venue that will be accessible to use at anytime.
Fundraising
The fundraising process.
Due to the limited number of challenge placements, we are setting a minimum $1,000 fundraising benchmark for all people that sign up. There is also a $25 registration donation which goes to your campaign.
1. Fundraise in the month of October with your profile that can be set up on this site.
2. If you do not reached the $1,000 mark you will have the opportunity to fill in the remaining amount on challenge day.
By reaching our $40,000 total target, we will be able to provide 350 Mental Health Maintenance scholarships to university students. Thank you for helping us achieve this mission.

What to bring
We are not planning on making your life unbearably miserable. Please see the list of items allowed for the fundraising challenge.
Journal
Bring your own journal and pen. Whether you would like to write about your feelings or plan your year of business, this is a neccessity.
Camp Chair + Water
Bring your own camping chair so you don't hurt your back. You will also need a bottle for water. Filtered water will be available all day.
Swag
Bring a single swag for you to rest in. Due to size restrains of your 2m x 2m square, we will not allow double swags.
