Hello Lovelies!! 😀I'm doing this challenge to raise awareness and funds for people struggling with mental health. My goal is to get to $1000, but any contributions will be greatly appreciated 👏
This year, I have finally taken some time to start working on myself and my own mental health struggles. Its always easier said than done to find enough time for yourself, but its an important thing we should all do!
Personally, I have suffered MDD as a teenager, PTSD from events as a young adult and PPD after having my daughter. I've also witnessed loved ones suffer from depression and anxiety.
Im aware some hospitals have been too quick to dismiss their mental health patients and its heartbreaking when it ends in suicides. Wouldn't it be nice if there were more resources for earlier intervention and prevention. Wouldn't it be a relief to have the stigma of "its not that important" taken away. A place where its much easier to openly say "I'm not okay".
Mental health issues are much more common than I think we all like to admit and something more has to be done about it!!
