On March 29, I’m taking part in the @20_talk Mental Health Fundraiser alongside 249 others, stepping into silence to shine a light on the importance of mental health. For 20 hours (4 AM - 12AM), there will be no phones, no noise—just a chair, a swag, water, and a journal.
Why? Because mental health has shaped my journey in ways I’m only just beginning to understand. Over the past year, I’ve faced moments of growth, doubt, and self-discovery. This challenge is about honouring that process, stepping out of my comfort zone, and embracing the silence to reflect on the work still left to do.
It’s not just about me—it’s about the countless people who struggle with mental health every day but may not feel they have the space to speak up or reflect.
