Hi everyone,

I'm Carla and soon I will be taking on a huge personal challenge: sitting in complete silence in a square for 20 hours to raise funds for mental health training and education.

Anyone who knows me knows I love anything active and I am always on the go. So when I saw this wasn't just another physical challenge I knew I had to sign up. I had to get comfortable being uncomfortable and would be anything but easy.

20 hours in a square, no phone and no talking.

Mental health struggles affect us all. Whether its directly related to us or one of our loved ones around us. It isn't uncommon and yet it is still not talked about enough.

I'm doing this to start a conversation. I'm doing this to raise awareness. I'm doing this for friends and loved ones still battling. I'm doing this for all the youth who don't know where to go and feel more alone than ever.

I know times are tough but if there is any donation you can make small or big towards this very important cause I would be extremely grateful.

Every dollar raised helps fund 20Talks mission to provide relatable mental health education to young adults (18 - 30) accessible for free.
