Why I’m doing 20 Hours for 20Talk
We’ve all faced hard times — and we all know someone who’s going through a tough moment right now.
A few years ago, I experienced depression. I was lucky enough to find people who supported me and helped me stand back up. But not everyone gets that chance. I’ve also lost friends to mental health struggles — and I wish they were still here with us.
That’s why I’m taking part in this challenge.
On June 28, I’ll be stepping into a 2m x 2m space for 20 hours of silence — no talking, no technology, no distractions. It’s a way to experience, in a small way, the isolation that so many young people feel when struggling with their mental health.
This challenge is for them — and your donation can help fund real, practical mental health support through 20Talk, an organisation doing amazing work for young Australians.
Every contribution counts.
If you can, please donate. And thank you for being part of this with me.
