20 Hours for 20 Talk
Hi everyone! I am participating in another fundraising event with this one being a little closer to my heart. On 6 September I’m participating in 20 Talk’s 20 Hour event. This event will see me sitting in a 2x2 metre square for 20 hours in silence with nothing but a mattress, a water bottle, a journal and a chair. There will be no technology and no talking. As part of this challenge, my goal is to raise $1,000 towards 20 Talk’s mission to empower young adults.
Did you know that 98% of mental health funding is directed towards intervention with only 2% towards suicide prevention. 20 Talk creates this essential education and support for young people across Australia, providing help before it is too late 🦋
