Breaking the Silence: My 20-Hour Challenge for Mental Health
I’m proud (and a little nervous) to share that I’ve been accepted to take part in the 20Talk Challenge here in Melbourne — a powerful movement to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
For 20 hours, I’ll sit in a 2m² space with no phone, no talking, and no distractions — just me, a journal, and my thoughts. It’s a test of presence, patience, and reflection, but more importantly, it’s a stand for something bigger: breaking the silence around mental health.
My goal is to raise $1,000 to support 20Talk’s mission to empower young people with the tools and confidence to talk about what really matters.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of silence or know someone who has, I’d love your support — whether it’s through a donation or by simply sharing my page to spread the word.
Let’s start the conversation. Let’s make mental health something we can all talk about.
