We all go through emotions in life, some days sad due to situations or feelings, and others full of happiness and love, but what about silence? Who is in silence? It is you... your fears, your achievements, your love, your heartbreak. I would love to tell you my story... where to start? To make it short... when my father died, I wanted to go with him. I was around 8-9 years old when my suicidal thoughts began... and I remained in that world of not wanting to live for approximately 10 years in silence, crying, desperate to know why or how, and looking for help... Without knowing what was happening, I fell into drug addiction in Colombia, smoking and snorting the famous "reconcilable" cocaine, which for some is a joke and for others a problem. I guess I was filling my voids... I arrived in Australia alone and discovered that everything depended on me and that if I died here, it would be meaningless. And one day, at 22, after struggling and migrating, being alone, not feeling at home, no mom, no one, just me against the white people trying to eat, pay rent, and learn a new language... I could write a book about my mom, dad, and how many traumas and voids I have been through and overcome, and some are still there... But all this is for those who still feel what I once felt: heartbreak, loneliness, sadness, without knowing how or why... I'm doing this challenge again because my soul needs it and because I don't want people to sink like I did due to a lack of knowledge, not knowing how to deal with situations and manage my mind. I wish that back then there had been fantastic mental health resources like there are today. Today for you, tomorrow for me, yesterday it was me, tomorrow it could be you, but if we are together, we can laugh together.
