Why am I doing this?

If you are here.... Hello! and a big warm mumma hug to you! My name is Lou Trevitt, I have chosen to do this challenge for so many reasons. I think the 1st reason that made me say yes was how loud and powerful silence and stillness speaks. This challenge is to sit in a 2X2 metre square with no technology no distraction from how we naturally feel and think and that can be the scariest and most threatening thing to anyone let alone someone who identifies with mental illnes. Young people today are in deep crisis and it breaks my heart! I am sad mostly by the level of disconection to their self and the fear of connecting with others. Isolation becomes the comfort zone and speaking up only from behind a screen feels confident.
