To everyone who's ever said 'do you ever stop talking' here’s your moment.
🔥 To all the people I lovingly annoy with my endless chatter, yes, I have been told I could talk underwater…Well, guess what? Im zipping it. Youll be happy to know im putting a sock in it! For 20 hours.
A full blown vow of silence, if you want to call it that.
🧠 Mental health matters. And this time, I’m raising my voice by going silent.
No talking. No phone. Just me, my journal, and my thoughts… all while sitting in a 2x2 metre square on the floor with hundreds of others doing the same, raising awareness and money for something that means a lot to me, Mental Health.
This is the 20Talk Challenge, and I’m excites to be part of it right here in Perth. I've been told we are only allowed to leave our square to go to the toilet
Mental health isn’t just a cause I support, it’s something I’ve lived through, fought for, and built a life around.
So yes, I’m choosing silence.
So that maybe someone else can feel heard.
So that someone struggling knows they’re not alone.
So that the conversation around mental health can keep getting louder… even if, for a moment, I go quiet. These have many initiatives and I really am excited to be part of raising funds for them.
