Why 20Talk?

2025 has been an extremely difficult year for me, I have been through a lot of emotionally draining situations in life and have found myself struggling, living on the edge and taking it day by day. In February the love of my life decided she was done, with that meant i lost my family. Something I saw as a forever was snatched away from me. In March I lost my grandfather, a prominent influence in my life and a huge support person. In May my ex partner had moved out to start her own life and coparenting began which is proving to be extremely difficult and taking a huge emotional toll. Not only have I lost my partner but I’ve lost my best friend. Everyday life feels so lonely and as if I have no purpose. I have been keeping busy to distract myself, but when I slow down and I find myself alone, or the kids aren’t at home, the thoughts creep in, the dark clouds get lower and darker and the rain (tears) begin to flow. How did my life come to this? It’s now time to reflect in a safe environment and share my journey with lots of other people going through similar life experiences and grief.
