Roxanne is taking on the 20-hour challenge to support youth mental health and raise awareness about the importance of prevention.

Time to make changes!

I've decided to take part in the 20Talk challenge.

Having worked in the hospital system as well as Telehealth, it is painfully obvious that the mental health industry is severely lacking.

There is not enough funding, not enough clinics and inpatient facilities to manage on increase in demand. There are definitely not enough services available after hours when so many are in crisis and need help.

Too many feel that they have nowhere and no one to turn to.

We've recently been affected by the suicide of a young school friend, so this 20Talk challenge seems like a very small thing to do to help raise much needed funds and awareness.
