For past me
From as young as I can remember until the age of 38 I have lived with mental health issues. I went through decades of major depression and anxiety later diagnosed as complex PTSD. With suicidal ideation spanning most of my life and years of self harm I never imagined I would get better. With earlier intervention, less stigma, better services, more easily accessible services and better facilities I could have began my recovery much earlier and wouldn’t have experienced half of the trauma I caused myself.
