20 Hours of Silence, for a Louder Conversation on Mental Health
So, I’ve signed up to sit in a tiny 2x2 metre box for 20 hours — no phone, no music, no snacks… just me, my thoughts, and the occasional identity crisis. Sounds wild, right?
But I’m doing it for something incredibly important: youth mental health. Because while 20 hours in silence might be uncomfortable, living with anxiety, depression, or not feeling safe to speak up is a whole lot harder — and too many young people are facing that reality alone.
I’m raising funds for 20Talk, a brilliant organisation helping young people open up, access support, and feel seen. If you’ve ever struggled, or know someone who has, you’ll understand why this matters.
So please, if you can, support me. I’ll be losing my mind (gently) so that others don’t have to suffer in silence.
