So, I’ve signed up for my first ever solo fundraising challenge.I’ve had a couple of reasons:
1) Supporting young people’s mental health is becoming increasingly important in our fracturing and disconnected world. 21Talk do an awesome job at that and I’d love to help.
2) I have gotten out of a habit of being with my own thoughts - my eyes are glued to screens constantly, which provides a good buffer between me and self reflection. When I came across this challenge - 20 hours in silence with my thoughts - it terrified me and excited me in equal measure. That’s how I knew I should do it.
