20 Hours of Silence for Youth Mental Health.
I have decided to take part in the 20 Hours for 20 Talk challenge to help raise funds and awareness for youth mental health.
I currently work with young people and am in the final semester of a Youth Work degree, so this cause is one that I feel very passionate about. I have seen how important it is for young people to have access to the right support and I’m proud to be doing my part to help make a difference.
On the 6th of September, I will sit in complete silence for 20 hours to raise money that will help provide essential tools and support to young people who need them the most. It definitely won’t be easy, but if it starts conversations about mental health or encourages even one person to reach out for help, then it is worth it.
