20Talk is a DGR-registered mental health prevention charity founded to tackle the youth mental health crisis. With only 2% of mental health funding allocated to prevention, we’re filling the gap by providing education, tools, and support to young Australians aged 18-30. Our mission is to normalise mental health conversations and give young people the resources they need to thrive
Be the Change
Every fundraising effort helps us provide life-changing education and support to young people across Australia. Join us in making a difference—one challenge, one dollar, and one life at a time
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
What is the fundraising requirement?
Participants are required to try their best to fundraise, with each participant having a $1000 fundraising goal.
The reason we have this requirement is because this event has been designed to also fund the next stage of growth and impact for 20Talk.
It also costs us an amount for each participant due to the increasing price of venue and associated costs. If a participant shows no motivation to raise donations, they will receive a check-in call by the 20Talk team.
The 20 Hours for 20Talk Challenge is both a personal and fundraising challenge.
What is included in the event day?
You’ll participate in 20 hours of silent reflection in a 2-metre square, with filtered water and restroom access provided. A team of dedicated volunteers will conduct wellbeing check-ins between your meals and each of the three scheduled performances.
How do I register?
Once you register your interest, a friendly 20Talk team member will get in touch with you if you have successfully been allocated a spot in the challenge.
What happens after I register?
You’ll receive access to your personal fundraising profile, guidance on hitting your target, and details to prepare for the challenge.
