Hey everyone, it’s that time of year again…
I wanted to share that on the 5th of September, I’m taking part in 20 Hours for 20Talk.
This is a challenge where I’ll be sitting in a 2x2 metre square for 20 hours in silence, with no technology and no talking.
This challenge is about raising awareness for youth mental health and supporting 20Talk’s mission to empower young adults (aged 18–30) with essential mental health tools and skills to tackle life’s challenges.
My goal is to raise $1,000, and I’d love your support in helping me achieve it.
Every donation, big or small, will help provide vital support and contribute to a future where mental health is prioritised.
If you’re able to, please consider donating and supporting this amazing cause. Together, we can help 20Talk continue making a real difference.
Thank you for your support ❤️
So why am I taking part in this challenge?
This cause is one I truly believe in. Having experienced my own mental health struggles, I understand how important it is to have support, connection, and conversations when they’re needed most. That’s why I’m passionate about helping raise awareness and funds for this incredible charity.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD and severe depression. Thankfully, I was surrounded by a strong network of friends and a loving partner who helped me through those dark times.
At the time, though, I wasn’t aware of many charities or resources that could help. Now, on the other side, I see how small, daily positive changes can make all the difference. I’ve come through stronger—building my own dog-walking business, spending time outside in nature, and connecting with people every day.
But don’t get me wrong—I still have my struggles, and every day brings something new to navigate.
That’s why charities like 20Talk are so crucial. They provide support, education, and resources that can make a real difference for people facing challenges with their mental health.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support I received, and I know not everyone has that same network around them. That’s why supporting organisations like 20Talk matters so much to me. 🤍
