20 Hours of Silence for Youth Mental Health.
Hi, I’m Bastien, and this September I’ll be taking part in the 20 Hours for 20Talk challenge.
For 20 hours, I’ll stay in silence, without my phone or distractions, to help raise awareness about mental health and support the incredible work of 20Talk.
Mental health is something that means a lot to me. I’m very sensitive to this cause, and I believe we need to talk about it more openly, especially with young people. It shouldn’t be taboo.
As an expat living in Australia, I’ve also learned that life far from family and lifelong friends isn’t always easy. It has shown me how important it is to feel supported, connected, and able to reach out when things get tough.
I wanted to challenge myself, step outside my comfort zone, and support a cause that has a real impact on people’s lives.
My goal is to raise $1,000 to help fund 20Talk’s mental health initiatives. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.
