Why this Matters To Me
In March, I’ll be completing 20 Hours for 20 Talk to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health. This isn’t something I’m doing casually. It’s a commitment.
As a business owner and educator, I believe growth should create impact beyond ourselves.
I see every day how powerful safe spaces and open conversations can be.
Mental health should never feel like something we avoid, especially for young people navigating pressure, identity and uncertainty.
That’s why I’m stepping up.
Through my business, I donate a percentage from every education session to charity.
My recent session contributed directly to this fundraiser, because I believe leadership means giving back.
My goal is to raise $1,000.
I’m already over halfway there and I’m not stopping.
If you’d like to stand with me in supporting youth mental health, I’d be incredibly grateful for your contribution.
Every donation moves this forward.
Every share helps keep the conversation alive.
Thank you for being part of something bigger.

Twenty Hours With My Own Thoughts
In order to raise funds for mental health charity 20Talk, I’m taking on the challenge of sitting in a 2-metre square box for 20 hours, with no technology and no talking. This challenge is a small window into what a day can feel like for someone struggling with their mental health.
All I’ll have is my own thoughts, a journal, and a chair to sit on.
So why am I doing this?
Because mental health touches all of us - personally, through people we love, or through moments we don’t always speak about.
It can be dark, lonely, and deeply confronting.
And while conversations around mental health are growing, the reality is that the statistics are still alarming.
• Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for young people aged 15–44
• Only 2% of mental health funding goes towards prevention (Mental Health Commission, 2022)
I’m completing 20 Hours for 20Talk to help turn these statistics around.
20Talk is a mental health charity focused on prevention — creating relatable, accessible education for young people, by young people. Their work helps start conversations early, before people reach crisis point.
Your generous donation supports:
• Putting young people through Mental Health Maintenance courses
• Expanding 20Talk’s online resources and growing their 60,000+ social media community
• Running large-scale, interactive mental health events
By improving mental health literacy, reducing stigma, and encouraging early help-seeking, we can support people before they reach crisis.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for supporting this cause.
If this small challenge helps even one person feel seen, supported, or less alone it’s worth it.
And if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m always here.
