20 Hours of Silence for Youth Mental Health.
This event popped up on my feed last year and I was curious about it but the timing wasnt right. This year when it came up I knew it was something I'd be keen to participate in.
I've seen first hand what being a slave to your device can do to a persons mental health, we see it all around us - on planes, in cafes, at the shops - people just can't seem to pull away from their phones.
It's taking a toll on our youth & I wanted to make a conscious effort to contribute in a positive way - not only for the personal challenge of not speaking or using my phone for 20 hours - but also to raise much needed funds for resources so more young people have access to the help they need.
