I am taking part in a challenge where I will spend 20 hours in a designated space without using my phone or engaging in conversation.The reason I chose to take on this challenge is that, as we face the serious reality of mental health struggles and rising suicide rates among young people, I felt it was important to pause and gently reflect on our own emotional well-being.
This challenge is not about isolation, but rather about practicing awareness and care for our inner state.
While acknowledging that being alone can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, this time is meant to encourage us not to avoid those feelings, but to notice them with compassion.
