20TALK
On the 27th of June, I’ll be taking part in a 20-hour silence challenge to support mental health initiatives that help young people navigate their wellbeing.
For those 20 hours, I’ll be sitting in a 2 x 2 metre space with nothing but a mattress, a water bottle, a pen and a notepad.
No distractions. No conversation. Just silence.
And even though this is only for a short time, it’s meant to reflect something much deeper — because for so many people, this kind of silence isn’t a choice. It’s what their world can feel like every day.
Feeling stuck in your own thoughts.
Feeling like you have to carry everything on your own.
Feeling like no one truly understands.
That’s why this matters so much to me as I never want anyone to feel alone in this world.
If you’re reading this and you’re struggling, please hear this — even if your mind is telling you otherwise, you are not alone. You are worthy of support, of being heard, and of getting through whatever you’re facing. There are people who care more than you realise, people who want to listen, and people who want to help.
If this message reaches even one person who needed it, then it’s worth it.
Thank you so much for your support, your kindness, and any donations ❤️
