20 Hours. No Talking. No Technology. Just Purpose.
For 20 hours, I’ll be giving up conversation, technology, entertainment, and comfort to participate in the 20 Hours for 20Talk Challenge.
While I know this challenge will be difficult, it doesn’t compare to the daily reality faced by many people experiencing mental health struggles.
Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for Australians aged 15–44, yet only a small percentage of mental health funding is directed toward prevention.
I’m taking on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for 20Talk’s preventative mental health programs that empower young people with the knowledge, support, and resources they need before reaching crisis.
