Kaya, helloMy name is Kaymus Brierly, im 19 years old and i come from the Pilbara. Im a proud njamal and nyiyaparli person, grateful to be living, learning and sharing on boorloo.
Currently, im in my second year of medicine at curtin with dreams to be a doctor working rurally. Im also very passionate about modelling, making art and travelling.
Why did i join 20Talk
I wanted to challenge myself, sit with my thoughts and be present. Its so easy to rush and always be on the move, but when do you really get the chance to give yourself 20hours? ill take it
I want to give myself the space to see what comes up, in whatever way that looks and allow it. This is such a cool opportunity and im someone who wants to experience as much as i can.
youth mental health is real, it isn't really talked about but so many people struggle. Anxiety has personally impacted me for some time and hopefully i come out of this experience understanding it a bit more. I also want to dedicate these 20 hours to anyone in my life struggling with their mental health. you are not alone.
