Sitting in the quiet, for something that matters
I’ve signed up for the 20 Hours for 20Talk Challenge - which means sitting in a 2×2 metre square for 20 hours… with no talking and no technology.
Just me, my thoughts, and the essentials.
To be honest, that alone feels like a challenge 😅
But that’s also the point.
This experience is designed to give a small glimpse into the isolation and mental load that many people live with every day.

💭 Why I’m doing it
Like most of us, I’ve seen how real and close-to-home mental health challenges can be.
And the stats are still confronting:
• Suicide remains the leading cause of death for Australians aged 15–44
• Only 2% of mental health funding goes towards prevention
That second one really stuck with me.

🤍 Where your donation goes
I’m raising funds for 20Talk, a charity focused on prevention and early support - helping people build tools for their mental wellbeing before reaching crisis point.
Your donation helps:
• Fund Mental Health Maintenance workshops for young people
• Grow accessible online resources and community support
• Deliver large-scale, interactive mental health events
For context - every $120 can put someone through a full-day workshop that gives them tools to understand and manage their mental wellbeing.
