Small blurb
As a now 32 year old, I look back at my childhood and realise that yea, it seemed wonderful and amazing.... but I had soooo many struggles I wasnt even aware of until now.Then as a teen, those struggles became suicide attempts, binge drinking, opioid abuse... and I felt like I'd lost all control. Trauma, SA, confusion about everything, fighting with myself, feeling completely alone and like i wasnt nornal.... I didnt see a light at the end of this dark road.
Finally, after seeing a therapist I was starting to find the light again.... then I had another blow and the light went out.
These past 6-7 years, its not been easy, but its been better. I still have dark and hard days, and im going back to my therapist to talk because I know something isnt right within me but instead of bottling it up (like I usually would) im talking about it, because my children need me, my partner needs me, and they need to better and healthy version of me.
