Why I’m Going Silent for 20 Hours:
My Mission to Raise Awareness for Mental Health
If you know me, you know I’m not usually the quiet one in the room. I love connecting with people, sharing stories, and sparking conversation. But soon, I’ll be taking on a powerful challenge: 20 hours of complete silence. No talking. No texting. No communication. Just me, my thoughts, and a mission.
Why? Because I’m passionate about fundraising for mental health, and I believe that sometimes, silence speaks louder than words.
Mental health is a cause incredibly close to my heart. Too often, people suffer in silence — afraid to speak up, unsure where to turn, or unable to find the support they need. This challenge is my way of honoring that silence and transforming it into something meaningful.
20 Hours No Talk is more than a personal test — it’s a symbolic act. It’s about stepping into the shoes of those who feel voiceless, isolated, or unheard. I want to use this silence to spark conversation around the struggles so many face quietly every day. Because while I might choose to go quiet for 20 hours, many don’t have that choice — they live with mental health challenges that make communication, connection, and coping incredibly hard.
A great cause! Good luck babe! X
