Suicide mental health awareness
I’m taking part in 20hours 20talk, a challenge where I will sit in complete silence for 20 hours with no phone or communication.
I’ve been interested in this event since it began, but this year it’s personal. In April last year, I lost my close cousin to suicide, which changed how I see mental health and the silence of those that couldn’t express but fought in silence.
I’m doing this challenge to help raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, and to honour those we’ve lost. If this encourages even one person to pause, reflect, or reach out for help, then it’s worth it.
