💛 Because No One Should Struggle in Silence 🤫
Hi everyone 💛
I’m taking part in the 20 Hours for 20Talk Challenge, where I’ll be spending 20 hours in complete silence to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
During this challenge, I won’t be talking, using my phone, or distracting myself just sitting with my thoughts in a room full of other participants doing the same. It might sound simple, but it’s designed to represent something really important.
So many people struggle with their mental health quietly. They don’t always feel able to speak up, ask for help, or explain what they’re going through. This challenge is about recognising that silence — and helping create a world where conversations about mental health feel safer and more normal.
Mental health challenges can affect anyone. Our friends, our family, our coworkers, and even the people who seem completely fine on the outside. By supporting 20Talk, we’re helping fund education, training and resources that give young people the tools to manage their mental health and support each other.
I’m doing this because I believe checking in, listening and breaking stigma can literally save lives.
